I lost 60 pounds in 90 days and I can teach you how I did it with my 3 Month Mega Shed!
I’ve struggled with weight loss for most of my life. I’ve also tried countless diets and pills that have left me disappointed and out of my hard earned money. I always knew that this is not how I wanted to live my life or how I wanted to look and I always told myself with each passing year that it was the last year I spent over weight and unhealthy. Year after year I failed and seemed I could find no luck with my weight loss quest, until one day I was introduced to a woman who would change my life and the way I looked at dieting forever.
Her name was Renee. She was my motivation to trying this diet that I am going to explain to you all. She was a real success story with continuing results. Also with this diet plan I was able to see that not only will I be learning how to lose weight, but that with the continuation of the diet this becomes a way of life which enables you to keep the weight off after your done dieting. I honestly hate to call this a diet because I very seldom felt starved or too hungry. There’s no specific name for this diet so I have come up with a name for my success diet and that is 3 Month Mega Shed!
I know I know, 3 Month Mega Shed probably sounds a bit lame but I honestly feel that is what I have done. I lost 60 pounds in 3 months and I shocked everybody around me at how fast I did it eating as much as I was eating. Before I begin to lay out my simple 90 pound weight loss secret let me start off by saying that no diet is easy and all diets require dedication and exercise. Also, this diet isn’t just for those looking to lose large amounts of weight, but also small amounts of weight too.
My exercise plan was simple and I did a small amount of research to get it and I combined that research with what I learned and saw from Renee. When I realized I worked with a real live success story I decided to take advantage of this woman. I watched what she brought to work to eat, how often she ate at work and also asked questions about dinners. To put it simply, Renee was calorie counting and using portion control. She also ate lots of fresh fruit and veggies as snacks and fillers through out the day to keep from being hungry. As I watched her bringing in the healthy snacks and not dreading eating them, I felt that I could do that. So I did. I went and bought lots of fruits and veggies I liked, 100 calorie pack snacks of chips and brownies or any 100 calorie pack, a lunch pail that kept my food cold and a freezer pack for it and lots of bottled water. Water will play a huge role in making this happen.
I also decided to research my body to see how much calories I burned a day naturally and how many calories it took to burn a pound. From doing a few simple searches on Google I was able to find how much calories I burned based on my weight and how much calories I had to shed to lose a pound. Based on these numbers I decided to take my weight loss a step further, that step was to put a cap on my number of calories I consumed per day. I decided to limit myself to 1100 calories a day. I was naturally burning over 3000 calories a day for the weight I was. After a few more calculations I figured out that I could burn almost 1 pound a DAY if I did a cardio exercise for 20 minutes a day and cut down my number of calories to 1100 a day. So ladies and gentleman, that is what I did for 3 months. Here are some steps that I learned on the way to make my process easier.
1. Eat a sensible breakfast. You will be surprised at how much this helps you on during the day. Missing breakfast will likely make you over eat later on in the day. If you have to boil a couple eggs and make you turkey bacon the night before, or what ever you decide to eat so that in the morning all you have to do is heat it up. I also liked to eat Special K cereals as well.
2. Always have some 100 calorie pack of something in your home. When you get hungry and have a craving having those 100 calorie packs will help, even if eating it is going outside the diet, its better to consume an extra 100 calories over your target number of calories per day than to eat a common snack that you will regret later on in the day.
3. Drink lots of water between bites during meals. Water will make you feel full fast. Try and consume at least a bottle of water with each mean and a bottle in between meals. Not only does it make you feel full, it quenches and hydrates your skin which is a great wrinkle combatant!
4. A good rule of thumb when cooking meals and you don’t have a nutrition chart to go off of to get your caloric intake for a specific food, is to make that portion of food no larger than the size of your fist.
5. VEGGIES! If you like vegetables than this is the time to take advantage of that. I honestly didn’t even add servings of veggies to my calorie number because all the research I did almost everywhere said to eat as much veggies as possible, so I’m telling you all the same thing. Eat as much veggies as you possibly can, certain veggies have things in them to charge up your metabolism and keep you full of energy!
6. Try and limit your alcohol intake during this period as beer and liquor do have a good amount of calories as well.
